I am a legal scholar trained in both law and social work (SJD, JD, MSW). Currently, I am an associate professor at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. I teach a variety of subjects, including health law, migration law, and Canadian constitutional law.

I am passionate about advancing health equity for marginalized populations, including migrants, refugees, racialized individuals, and people living with HIV/AIDS. My research draws on socio-legal studies, action research, and community engagement to further this aim.

At the core of my work lies the intersection of health, international migration, and human rights. My work has touched on social determinants of health, migrants' right to health, refugee health care, border control measures for infectious diseases, and medical tourism.
