Booking Office Hour Appointments
Students who have questions or concerns about their course work and wish to meet are welcome to sign up for appointments during office hours.
All office hour appointments are now held by phone or online via Skype or Zoom. Please indicate your preferred method of meeting and provide me with your contact information when booking an appointment.
Students who make an appointment must observe the following terms and conditions.
Policies Concerning Office Hours & Appointment Sign-up
Appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Barring unforeseeable circumstances, changes to or cancellation of appointments must be made at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled time of meeting.
Each appointment will be 15 minutes in length. To ensure that all students will have equal access to office hour appointments, each student is allowed to sign up for a maximum of 2 appointments per week, for a total of 30 minutes. If more time is absolutely required, students may contact Professor Chen to arrange additional meeting time.
Students must be on time for their meetings as all appointments will conclude promptly at the end of scheduled time; this is to ensure fairness for other students whose appointments are coming up.
