Booking Office Hour Appointments

Students with questions or concerns about their course work and wish to meet are welcome to sign up for appointments during my office hours.

For the time being, all office-hour appointments are held by phone or online (via Zoom or Skype). Please indicate your preferred method of meeting and provide me with the appropriate contact information when booking an appointment.


In addition, students must observe the following terms and conditions when making an appointment.

Fridays 13:00 - 17:00


Winter 2022
Fridays 13:00 - 17:00

Policies Concerning Office Hours & Appointment Sign-up
  • Appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Barring unforeseeable circumstances, changes to or cancellation of appointments must be made at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled time of meeting.

  • Each appointment will be 15 minutes in length. To ensure equitable access to office hour appointments, each student is allowed to sign up for a maximum of 1 appointments per week. If more time is absolutely required, students may email Professor Chen to arrange additional meeting time.

  • Students must be on time for their meetings as all appointments will conclude promptly at the end of scheduled time; this is to ensure fairness for other students whose appointments are coming up.
